When you come from a big family, there are always parties, weddings and funerals. Weddings are the best of course because it’s a time when a lot of family members and friends are there. Weddings are always a fun and happy occasion filled with love. The most beautiful sight in a wedding aside from the bride of course is seeing the kids walk down the aisle. Lovely flower girls with their flower girl baskets and cute boys acting as ring and bible bearers are so irresistible.

Flower girls usually walk right before the bride. Traditionally, their role is to litter the aisle with flower petals for the bride to walk on. Today flower girls still carry flower girl baskets but not all flower girls throw petals on the aisle anymore. This is because there are so many alternative venues for weddings like sandy beaches, hilltops and others. Some flower girls in fact walk down the aisle in a flower “ball” arrangement. They don’t do much, they just walk and look cute and lovely for all to see and appreciate.
