I recently had dinner with my former boss. He recently had his retirement and is now considering joining a Christian ministry. I encouraged him to join when he asked my opinion about it. I mean it is worthy use of his time. It is like a Christian gift that you can give to yourself and to your family. Joining a ministry is very good for the soul and even to the people around you.

I have two friends who are thoroughly enjoying their youth ministry. Somehow it helped them view things in a much deeper and outward perspective. They now have a better understanding of the world and what’s happening around them. I’m partially involved in our church activities due to the nature of job I encourage my family to be more active in it. And when I retire I know I will fully devote my time doing my ministry. It is not just a venue to make one self even better but to be of help to others who want to better themselves as well.
