Christmas may be past but it is never too early to plan for next year’s Christmas. I have a little trick that I do right after Christmas. I have a folder where I collect clippings or ideas about Christmas. At the start of the year, even before I put down the décor, I think about the displays and decorations that I saw the past season. I list them down for possible adaptation next year.

I also take note of gifts that I received. There are some gifts that you love so much that you would like to share them with friends. What I do is take note of these and keep them at the back of my mind. Examples are Christmas gift baskets. In the process of shopping throughout the year, I will surely come across similar products that will fill up unique Christmas baskets. I try to collect a couple of pieces each time, and before I realize it, I will be done with my shopping list even before Christmas carols hit the air and the nifty feeling of Christmas embrace me.
