elastic cord
I am surprised when people complain that they have a lot of gift wrapping to do. This happens during the Christmas season or when somebody in the family is getting married and gifts for the principal and secondary sponsors are being prepared. I love wrapping gifts, and I would gladly offer my help, if needed. I like being around beautiful things in their boxes, heaps of tissue paper, beautiful wrapping paper and different kinds of ribbons and elastic cord. If others look at wrapping gifts as work, I look at it as play.
What makes wrapping gifts even more enjoyable is that there never is a shortage of beautiful and appropriate trinkets and decorative pieces that you can get from the craft store. Ribbon makers come up with new and unique designs in the ribbons that they market. It is also a challenge to be able turn up with something fashioned from recyclable things. I keep bits and pieces from the wrapping of gifts that I receive and reuse them in a different way. They always come out very well without anybody knowing that they are recycled pieces.
