Most teenage boys would want to start their own band not only to play wonderful music, but there is this certain added confidence booster they can get from playing a particular instrument. At this certain age most kids are usually finding themselves and wanting to belong, and it is for this reason they would want to form their own band. Music is also a great way to express oneself.

For parents whose kids are into music or are simply going through this stage when they are finding their interests and who they are, it is best to simply support their children to make them feel loved and thought of. One must not be surprised if his child would ask for black drum hardware or an electric guitar to try and pursue his dreams. One cannot simply contain his child to be best in academics. You never know, your son may be the new rock star the industry needs.
