When we moved into our new house, my husband and I did not have that much furniture. We lived in a small two bedroom condominium so our new three bedroom house was sparsely furnished. When we hosted our housewarming party, several of our friends gave us wooden gifts. They were all so pretty and practical. We got wooden magazine racks, wooden bread trays, wooden key holders and many more.

Wooden gifts are so practical for housewarming parties. After a few days, I decided to go to the department store and buy more wooden items that I could add to our home. After a year, it was my brother’s turn to move into his own house. I bought him wooden gifts as well. I gave him wooden folding trays for when he and his wife would like breakfast in bed, and wooden towel racks for their bathrooms.
